April Green Transportation Earth Month Challenge

JOIN US IN CELEBRATING WALK & ROLL FOR THE EARTH MONTH AND OUR GREEN TRANSPORTATION CHALLENGE THIS APRIL!  
 

This April, we challenge you to walk, bike, scoot, skate, carpool, or take the bus or public transit to school (or anywhere), and tell us about it in our Green Transportation Challenge!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN WALK & ROLL FOR THE EARTH MONTH  
 

1. PARTICIPATE IN YOUR SCHOOL'S WALK & ROLL TO SCHOOL DAY AND/OR WALK, SCOOTER, SKATE, or BIKE to/from SCHOOL OR ANYWHERE WHENEVER YOU CAN!
 

2. COMPLETE TWO OR MORE ACTIONS FROM OUR GREEN TRANSPORTATION CHALLENGE AND SUBMIT TO SRTS FOR A CHANCE TO WIN A $25.00 GIFT CARD TO A LOCAL EATERY OF YOUR CHOICE! 
 

GREEN TRANSPORTATION CHALLENGE & SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: 
 

  • Download the GREEN TRANSPORTATION CHALLENGE:   ENGLISH PDF  SPANISH PDF  ENGLISH JPEG  SPANISH JPEG
  • Choose two or more actions to complete: Walk or bicycle instead of driving to a destination, carpool instead of driving in a single family vehicle to a destination, or take the bus or public transit (city/county bus or train) to a destination.  
  • Fill in your challenge sheet for the Green Transportation Modes you have completed. 
  • Submissions must be received by Monday, May 5th
     

Each Green Earth Challenge submission will be entered into a drawing for a $25.00 gift card to a locally owned eatery of your choice. Winners will be announced in May and gift cards will be delivered directly to winners.  Thank you to the Mineta Transportation Institute for sponsoring our Green Earth Challenge.
